Kal-el was born December 19, 2017 which obviously means he will technically be 1 before Christmas meaning this isn't his first. Kal was born 3 weeks early and his lungs were not strong enough to support his size. So he was in the NICU for Christmas.
Fortunately with the power of breastmilk and medicine, a NICU stay until new years turned into a week stay and he came home the day after Christmas.
This year we plan on treating this as Kals 1st Christmas with us :)

Driving in a vehicle with 5 kids can be crazy. Imagine sitting in said vehicle, with 5 kids, while waiting for dad in the doctors or the store and allowing the unbuckle so not to go stir crazy.........
Yea it's kind of a jungle and immediate craziness.

I am always trying to find toys to stimulate Kara. She is so energetic it is hard to get her to sit down and pay attention. I got these in Hope's that she would enjoy them. While she had fun she preferred to play with them her own way lol but the other girls enjoyed them :)

As a mother of 5 kids you can imagine the amount of trash that can accumulate in our van. Usually we use a grocery bag but it's so annoying. Now we dont have to.
I love how easy this is to place and how the lining is waterproof and how it comes with an anchor. The only thing I dont like is how it doesn't fit well with car seats in the van. I had to move my 3yos seat to the back (which she was happy about) because the can was basically in her lap when in the seat.
I have the hardest time finding goggles that will fit Kara. Came across these bad boys and Kara and I both are super excited for her to give them a try. I hate that the season is already over but in a matter of time Summer will be here again :)
My kiddos love to go swimming and love to dive but hate when the masks fog up on them. We got these so that they can see underwater and not have those issues anymore. As a bonus it came with a bunch of goodies :)
It is so hard to keep a couch in good shape when dealing with kids and children. My couch looks horrible as a result. My friend Dee Just recently purchased a new couch. I want more than anything for it to stay as pretty as it is right now. I do not want it to look anything like ours. So when I got the chance to review the INNX Couch cover I was ecstatic. WE already got her the loveseat cover so why not get her this one as well :)

My husband is horrible with Wallets. He is always forgetting to take them out of his pants before putting them in the hamper and as a result his wallet is always getting washed which in turn causes it to tear apart.
I got him this wallet in hopes that it would be big enough but sadly it wont work for us BUT it is actually a really decent wallet. Appears to be good quality and it is slim and light weight. My son plans on taking it over as his own :)

My mom and I both take Biotin for our hair and nails. Due to the gastric bypass my moms hair is extremely thin and for me because I have had so many kids back to back (along with breastfeeding) my hair has gotten extremely thin. I know when I go to have the VSG surgery my hair will fall out. It is all a part of the process but I know with the use of Biotin then I will be able to help overcome that side effect a lot faster :)
I hate how all the other Biotin supplements are enormous and so hard to swallow. Especially when you add them into my regimen of other vitamins. I like how small these are compared to all the others. Although the bottle is a little large considering how few capsules there are.
I have struggled with my weight for a long time. I hope to be getting bariatric surgery this summer but it is all up to the insurance company and when they want to approve me.
For now I can get my body ready.
